Fish Transportation / Moving

Many of us see our fish as an extension to the family just like any other pet and we put a lot of love and care into them over the years. It’s understandable then when you move house you want to take your fish with you. However, the question is, with all the stresses and strains on move day how do you transport your prize fish? Do you really want to be trying to catch them and take care of them at the other end whilst orchestrating removal men!

If that wasn’t enough if there’s no pond at the other end where are you going to put the fish? Many would make the difficult decision at this point to leave them behind, or perhaps re-home them if the new owners don’t want them.

Springs Aquatic can help you take your fish with you, or re-home them safely. We have a specially designed tank that can hold numerous fish in safety over long distances, protecting them from knocks and scrapes and giving them room to move around. The tank can be aerated throughout any journey either via an air pump or with oxygen depending on the circumstances and our experts are monitoring them at all times.

Here's what one happy customer had to say....

Hi Dan, Just to say thank you so much for the very professional and efficient job you did in moving my fish on October 28th. I was so worried about the whole process but as soon as we met at my old house and you had the whole thing already under control (pond draining, first load of fish already in the tank) my worries melted away. I knew I could just relax and leave it to you. Fish are all very well and happy in their new abode, such careful handling meant they were never at all stressed. I would have no hesitation in recommending your services to anyone who needs their fish moved to a new pond. Best Wishes Pauline
